Matryoshka's Bakery is a home-based bakery owned and operated by Maryam Counter in Saint George, VT. Specializing in French macarons and specialty macaron cakes, Maryam always sources fresh ingredients and as many local products as possible.
"Matryoshka” is a Russian Nesting Doll. It represents family. The outermost doll is the mother in her traditional dress. The inner dolls are her children. With my three little ones, the name Matryoshka’s Bakery spoke to me, our family, and our kitchen—where everything is made with love.
